Founder & Architect

Elle Bytautaite is an ARB-registered and RIBA Chartered Architect with over a decade of experience in high-end residential design. She has worked on Listed buildings, townhouses and countryside homes across the UK and in the South of France.

Elle founded the studio to offer a more personal, considered approach — one rooted in calm communication, intuitive planning and a deep respect for place. Her background includes time as an Associate at a leading London practice, where she worked on meticulously detailed homes and projects such as Harrods Fine Watchroom. Now working independently, she brings the same depth of care and creativity to every project, with a focus on natural materials, light and quiet beauty.

Approach

Studio Elle works with homeowners who care deeply about how their homes feel, function and age. With expertise in both town and country houses — including listed buildings, conservation areas and green belt sites — the studio handles projects ranging from simple refurbishments to complex renovations and extensions with planning constraints and restrictions. The process is collaborative and unhurried, beginning with careful observation and intuitive planning. Whether restoring a thatched cottage or extending a Victorian terrace, the goal is always the same: to shape spaces that feel honest, elegant and enduring.
